I swear, whenever I see rockets, it’s never to the moon. Always, crash and burn. Kings even worse.

Sitting at home taking a couple weeks off, just watching the moon fuel go away. I thought about bobtailing over and topping off just to say I got some fuel for under $4.

Rates go down together with fuel.

But what about Covid when there were moon rates and cheap fuel? Or were those rates driven by supply and demand and not affected by fuel?

I watched gas prices drop over 25 cents per gallon last night only to rise right back up 15 cents today. How many times are we going to see this happen? The same routine...drop the price a little for a day or two and raise it right back up. We're all getting screwed.

WTF?! I don't even haul flatbed and even I know that rate is an insult. And dropoff date is not even available. Delivery is probably set for next week, too.

I'd bet a 6-pack of beer that the rate is not a typo either.

All these are from that same broker. It's either single coils or some other type of steel/aluminum. Regardless though, they don't even pay enough to go in the back of a Toyota Prius
