Rates are picking up...

Rates are not going up yet. Spot markets may be higher, but as a whole, things are not really getting better.

 

Heck, newbies pulling a company van are giving up 35%.......plus the added expense of EOBR.

 

Now you're just showing off....lol....

 

Walters you must have the ''golden freight'' out of Mass.Fill me in here on these Goldon Rates out of Mass for 2.50 and more.....On a Sunday to boot...

 

Yet Landstar registers Millions every quarter and can't give us a ''raise''...Sure Landstar.Actually they gave the newbies a drop in pay with the added EOBR...

 

Thats why I will never lease to LS, they are more worried about keeping their share holders happy than the BCO's.

 

For #### and giggles whats Mercer "give" you contractors to keep you happy?

 

Respect is probably the biggest one for me, everyone in Louisville treats me like they care, and I can walk into anyone's office and sit down and talk to them.

 

Respect is a great thing but it only goes so far. So their freight would have to be good along with the respect. I get alot of decent LS freight at a decent rate when they need help here locally but seems Mercer just doesn't have the freight to cover their own guys let alone outside carriers. I think people just get adgitated and say the worst about all companies but forget to say the good.

 

I am smart enough to stay out of the the Northeast. I am happy to watch the Landstarve's and the espanol's and kgb's fight over the low rent freight in the northeast....
