There's a line too imo. If you don't enjoy it, I think it would suck.

No matter what money is involved, when you get tired you need to get out of the truck for awhile.

The bumps seem magnified. People get on your nerves cause your BS filter is full.

The only way to clean it out is some R&R.

The ports on the west coast are still backed up and ships are waiting to get unloaded. Rates are still holding for CA heading east and north. If you can find a load out here, you're almost guaranteed to find a great rate back. Reefers are kicking butt right now. Busiest I've ever been. Brokers have been calling me non-stop and emailing as well looking to get loads covered. I'm ignoring them all.

Taking next week off after a very good month.

Reefer rates around the southeast have let up some but I'm still not having any trouble booking $2k a day. When that stops happening then I'll think it's bad. I have yet to go to any "bad areas" this year.

Very limited loads going into California and the ones that do pay junk.
Managed something decent going in, will be there empty on Friday. Should be a fun day of me squeezing the desperate brokers

I wonder about the strength of it. They shut everything down and now there's a bunch of econmic activity playing catch up to get to where we already were. Doesn't seem like real growth to me. At some point everything will get caught back up and the shortages will end. Are we going to end up back at the somewhat stagnant kind of growth there's been for the past 10 years at that point?

And look at the massive overspending and irrational foreign policy of the current administration. We had peace in the middle east with strong leadership and now there's chaos and violence over there with the current leadership vacuum. We were the largest producer of oil in the world and self sufficient for the first time in decades now we are walking back to dependency on foreigners at a time when the reserve status of our currency is in decline. And the spending frenzy they kicked off to cover up their shut down F-up seems like it will never end.

So the question here is, how optimistic are you, or I guess I should say we, that this strong growth is fundamentally sound and is going to last? I'm pessimistic.

Just wait till all this bonus unemployment runs off, then people will go back to work.

Well, if you're willing to gamble taking a load from Uber and don't mind delivering to NYC, there are two citrus reefer loads listed for today out of Delano CA for $10,000 each.
