Not great for a Monday but a lot of those loads have room to negotiate.

 

The market is definitely going down for vans. It takes way more effort to get a good load vs even a month ago.
The big part of it is the auto chip shortage and that affects all the businesses around.

 

Oh and everyone who jumped on the Amazon bandwagon, are now switching to the general load board, because they are very slow.

Country is opening up, people gonna start spending money somewhere else, instead of sitting at home and buying crap on the internet. Prices for everything are going up and the income of majority of the population have not caught up yet.
So yeah, the times of grossing 10k with a van are fading away

 

Only deal with shippers/receivers that don't screw you around. Running the same area daily you know who to avoid. Unless i grab a load coming back thru the house ill bounce back and be loaded for the next day.

 

That load I pulled from nogalas to chicago last week was thru a broker that I have a very good relationship with .
She told me get while the getting is good for the next 6 weeks and after that things are going to tumble .
