So what is cheap rates? One guy talks like 1.15 is. When I first started in 1997 pulling company trailers and getting .88 cents a mile I made a huge amount of money but when I thought I could do better buy getting my own dry box and going with an all O/O company everything went downhill from there.
Currently thinking about getting back out there but just not sure with all the negative reviews and such. -
I won't leave town for less than 1.80 a mile and that's bottom buck .
stayinback Thanks this. -

Do you have your own rights?

No ...I give up 27pct pulling a company trailer

Shoot bzinger, if your making $1.80 per mile plus fsc LEASED on to a carrier, Your doing very well.
My thinking is your getting 73% of that rating....Im independent and everyone is hugging under $2.00 per mile All inclusive
Yes, I have my own customers. (In case you thought I worked with brokers)bzinger Thanks this. -
Thanks stayinback but gotta remember the hides I haul to Laredo are very hard on truck frames and the parts under the deck plate ...constantly drenched in salt ....

I posted about this co last year about all the flatbeds & stepdecks I saw lined up in the street waiting to be loaded every week.
Now I only see a handful of trucks waiting to be loaded but, they have at least 10 flatbeds pre-loaded waiting to be taken to their destination.
Product looks like galvanized stamped steel, possibly solar panel stands, I've seen them before in Phx. So I was wondering who could be building a solar farm that would need all these stands?
Was in Vegas last month and coming home South on the 95, between Boulder & Searchlite on the West side of the road is a huge solar farm that looks only 50% complete.
Someone has to take these loads, and they seem to have a lot of them.
