Bad as in no freight or bad as in difficult to use? Are you running flatbed? Are any of the premium plans worth it?
ITS is the only board I have been using, and have had good luck. I've noticed load numbers are down, but probably the time of year. I'm pulling a flatbed.

It doesn't sound like you were using it before they were sold to Über and decided to change the entire format. Then they forced it on their customers without it being properly finished/tested. It's full of bugs and has become unreliable for me. I've been trying to get them to fix my blocked list for months and they just ignore me. Plus, all the other little issues are just getting to be too much. There are threads here about it if you want to research it a little more.

I did like the old format way better than the new one. It was easier to search, and I think they took away some data that I thought was useful. Seems like I have been using the mobile app more than on my computer, though.

you can never be wrong asking $1000 for the first mile. The daily minimum and then build on that.

Now that you mentioned it, one thing that REALLY gets under my skin with ITS is they took away the ability to reverse search for loads. It's infuriating how audacious they are to take away revenue generating abilities and make the customer pay them to be software testers. They got a great little scam going tbh.

Mine is 1250 and should be moving it up to 1400 really considering how pricey everything is getting right now.WannaGoTrucks2016, D.Tibbitt, LoneRanger and 2 others Thank this.

That's more power to you. However, I am of an opinion that there is not such a thing as a rate formula on the spot market. Rates are determined by all the little forces on the market that are bidding for available freight. For example, 1000 trucks wanting to get the best rate out of 1500 available loads of their interests within 100 mile radius. There is no way that someone's individual profitability formula, could be a concern of any of those little forces. We can only hope that the compounded vector of those little forces is, more or less coincidently, in convergence with our own as to what rate we desire and can get.86scotty, ProfessionalNoticer and shooter19802003 Thank this.

Forget about what some load boards premium membership service is posting. Set your own rates and if they don’t like it move one.

Pretty much. Most important factor is load to truck ratio then relationships. Think of it like this. When your wife goes shopping she usually picks up your favorite foods, but if she finds a darn good deal your gonna be eating something else! Wife is broker, food is carrier. You are the customer.
If you are on a load. Congrats! Likely you were the lowest bidder in the entire country for that load. Holidays you can ask for more but if you are not the lowest you can spend that holiday at the truck stop. It’s all just a fun game! Enjoy.Last edited: Nov 18, 2021
