I've been with Raven 18 weeks the first 3 weeks I was holed up in hotels with truck repairs. I finally had to get a different truck cause 100 day breakdown is not enough to be away from home. I've only had 5 weeks over 2000 miles. If you express the slightest complaint about a load, they will go out of their way to keep giving you loads you don't care for. Once I expressed concern over a 6 hour lumper unload that finished in the wee hours when I could not find parking. I except 5 hour unloads from time to time but not when I get kicked out and can't find parking dead tired. So after my comments, my next 4 loads were lumper middle of the night unloads.

I must respectfully disagree with that statement. Things aren't perfect here by no means. But whenever I have had an issue, I would calmly go in face to face sit down and talk about the issues I have had. Although they can't create miracles they go out of their way to try and fix it. And sometimes there's nothing that can be done about a particular issue. But they do at least try to accommodate you when they can. -
Do they route you and tell you where to fuel?
-
They have a fuel list you go by. But no they don't route you or tell you which way to go.

Been some time since I've posted anything on this thread. Today November 17th 2016 makes my one year anniversary with Raven.
For those interested or inquiring about this company this is my honest review. As I have stated before as with all trucking companies with a driver's point of view they are not perfect. you will on average get anywhere around 22- 2500 miles a week. Notice I said " ON AVERAGE" meaning you will have weeks that are very slow . But when you take on average your miles over several weeks span. Depending on experience and the CPM you start out with , you can average fairly well . if I'm not mistaken top pay here is. 50 CPM DOE unsure what the lowest pay cpm is. the equipment is decent. My DM and I have a good working relationship. Everybody still seems to be very professional and friendly. For what it's worth I still say they are hands-down the best company I have ever worked for.paul_4lp Thanks this. -
BTW lucky if you're still out there are you still working with Raven?
