well my better half reminded me that my first solo run was march 7..which means our class just hit our six month level...so congrats to techno, OSU, and Irish!!!

Thanks goblue for the posts, it has made my choice a whole lot easyier.
goblue Thanks this. -
11 months ago.... started out in Marshfield. Still going strong. Good to hear that my friends from this class OSU, Techno, and Irish are still currently pursuing their driving careers here at Roehl in their own unique ways. It seems with Roehl that they keep us all very busy and I've seen everyone on occasion with the exception of Irish who I talk to on the phone about once a month.
For those looking at Roehl, I can attest from 11 months experience now that it is for real and you can make a decent income from your work. It is not for the weak at heart, they keep me running. It has been a safe place to work at and I really can't complain about support or equipment I have used. It's not perfect, each day has its own hitch, but nothing that cannot be overcome with a good mind and communication.
BTW, OSU and Techno...Irish told me that we can request a copy of our DAC report and he did that and was amazed at what he found. It's free and you can do it on their website, sorta like a credit report. I ordered mine today just to see whats in there...curiousity I guess. waiting for that report to come back. The OSU, theBadger719, updem and 1 other person Thank this. -
Is there a website to do this?
-
i just did a yahoo search for hireright and went to the DAC trucking section for the site....it's relatively simple to find. I requested the email report but there is one that they will send right to your home address too. I did get an email confirmation but have not received the report yet. I did not go into the details with Irish, but from what he was telling me he was rather shocked how much info was on it.
-
Just requested mine also. Says 15 days before they even process the request.
goblue Thanks this. -

looks like it must be completed within 15 days.
I have always thought that Roehl does a good job of bringing in persons that fit, it will be interesting what they checked out on me or even reported on my DAC record. I did burn up a couple of trailer tires in phase III...lol, I guess I will see.
Now that I'm training couldn't be more impressed with the guys I've had so far. My last one was a last moment cancellation...something happened on his end, not sure what, but it seemed that Roehl found something out and ended his employment at that point.
they don't take chances with that stuff. -
Requested my DAC report today as well. Since the only 'incident' was a 'clobbered' deer with no real damage to the truck (which they didn't even look at) it shouldn't be too bad. If Irish was surprised at his, it gets my interest. Thanks

I was in Marshfield today and with the snow on the ground and out on the training range, reminded me of what we were doing 11 months ago. Time does fly.
