Delivery in south Florida went well. Deadheaded up to dade city grabbing a load off our yard there to head to Memphis for Monday morning. On the way I’m going to swing through cullman and get an inspection done on my truck. So some context my dispatcher told me today that they are complementing a new requirement or policy what have you to have the truck inspected every 60 days at one of our terminals. Recently one of our drivers had SIX yes SIX dogs in his truck and completely ####ed up the interior of the truck. Seats dash everything ruined and was a brand new truck. Gonna go out on a limb and say he doesn’t work here anymore. I mean six dogs in that small of space #### that. Couldn’t hear myself think if I was in that situation

How many miles per trip and what are you averaging per month? Trucks have cameras?

Lumper Humper and mdmgolfin Thank this.

It varies for a solo. Most of my loads have averaged about 5-700 miles in length. My two longest were meat runs to Colorado out of Alabama and reloaded out of JBS in Greeley heading back to Alabama. My first month I did just under 12,000 miles. This second month is a will be slower cause of the holidays. Only outward facing cameras in the trucks

What wifi gets hooked up does Garrison pay the subscription or the driver.
I have a hard time with letting the new guys sleep in the yard parking lot on there 2nd night in town . but ive never slept in a brand new truck either.
Good Luck and keep us posted.

It’s Verizon. It’s paid for by garrison. They’ll go over it in orientation how it works and the steps to go through if you have issues

    Lumper Humper Thanks this.
