I swear there's been about half a dozen bridge strikes in Edmonton the last year or 2. I don't recall it ever being this bad.

That excavator should have been on a double drop..
Same issue as the sherwood park fwy /34st bridge strike this winter.
That overpass had just been repaired from the last bridge strike. You can see the color change from where the last repair ended to the right of the strike.AModelCat Thanks this. -

I went under the new damage on henday, no where near as bad as the last. Maybe 4" too high.
The hwy 21 bridge has a lot of damage.

I don't know much about IRT but they've been around for a while. Most of their iron I've seen looks like it's pretty well maintained. I would hesitate to say they're your typical fly by night outfit anyways.
