FedEx really sounds like it would be right up your alley, @JohnBoy spells it out pretty perfectly, terminal to terminal, no more truck stop BS, consistent schedule, nice equipment, and a good paycheck. I guarantee there’s a contractor in Port St. Lucie that would put you on.

 

If he doesn’t mind working nights like JB does it would be a good fit.

Another thing, that’s FedEx ground that @JohnBoy is working for.
You work for a contractor that runs FedEx ground pups and 53s.
FedEx freight is a whole different animal!

 

JB had a couple of friends that left Abilene while he was there and went to work for that contractor. That’s how he got the sweet deal that he has.

 

I was just making sure he knew the differences between FXG and FXF.
There is some good contractors out there.
FXF is all company drivers.
