Hey congrats on school! Hope it goes well for you. We haven't started yet ourselves so we don't really have any advice but there are plenty of friendly and experienced people here. And that's an awesome nickname, my nick names were never that cool (a lot of people called me squirrel). Again we hope everything goes well for you and your family.

Load it up , I will get it there. How bad you want it there? I have a 9 speed, a 15 speed. & an 18 speed. With Radios. or Not. My Truck looks like Radio Shack Threw Up. Old Days. I'm guilty of being an Owner operator.

 

Have to load @ 2:00. AM No bankers hours. Crain operators expect You to know where you want the freight. We play hard. Truck don't care. Old Biker like me, or a pretty girl like you. Control the HP or it will kill you. My Truck is better than I am. You ain't that good. I am not either. Truck will eat you up! I made a driver and let him loose with a pretty nice truck. It's pretty cool.

 

Check the trans-system website; 3 good WA based companies to choose from. The best annual pay is with flatbed or tanker. Welcome back to the real world. It's hard to unwind after being in the military, so trucking is a good fit.
