I will def hit ya up bout that dustingreenway. That the program that uses your gi bill to make extra money? Only goes for a year if i remember right
-
Yea that's right. Not all companies do it.
-
Yea....i was def considering that. That something ya can start at anytime? Would like to save the bill incase trucking aint for me and go to school.
-
The VA considers your first year on the job training so I don't know if you can do it later or not.

Schneider Bulk is the way to go with Schneider.
Several companies participate in that program. I think Melton Truck Lines is one of them. -
Had to do a double take on your name. For a moment, I thought it said fat black kid.
-

I would look at veteran friendly company as they should understand the lingo and issues if any arise I would recommend using your GI Bill if you are not going to school right now chances are you probably wont become a traditional college student so take advantage of the benefits now and you won't loose any unused money, but remember there is a time limit to use it. Since you were a wrench I would look at getting ASE certs also
I would recommend looking at the Reserves or NG once you get settled in to civilian life again more education benefits and a company that is military friendly will route you if otr to allow you to be home for drills
Just my 2 cents
