Ready or Not Here I come!!

So does the detention pay, which starts two hours after your appointment time.

 

I can make more money rolling down the road then on detention. Short loads with alot of down time is what I don't like.

 

Then you can sit at the terminal ######## about 1,500 and 1,800 mile weeks while you wait for a load going further than 500.

 

Delusions of grandeur.......most definately. Lol!

 

Sometimes you have to really look at where the load is going, especially this time of the year. Example, sit two days in Fontana, then get a short load going to El Paso, and then sit again for possibly another two days. Is it worth it?? Or is it better to possibly wait in Fontana a little longer and possible snag that long one. These are some things gthat you have to weigh out.

 

Funny thing is I don't refuse short loads, Just don't like them. Sit at the terminal? not me.

 

Hope you have better luck with the mentor thing than I am having.

 

Hey Big Bus Man how u doing?I see at one time u worked for pam.I worked there to from 03 to 05 now im going to work for swift out of Fontana.If your mentor is an a ss just make his life hell.If hes a good trainer run hard for him but dont take any crap from him stand your ground...

 

Mf road trainer is an explicit! I hate being on the truck with him he has no patience! Before u can catch your own mistake he has giving u a 30 min speech on how the dmv will fail u for it! It is very discouraging! He told me that alabama has no points. If u don't make it to the forward stop box u auto fail. He has my nerves so bad!
