I wish I still had the number to the broker I used when I'd pull new holland tractors and lawn mowers out of Dublin, ga.
I think the name of the broker was Montgomery , but that might be where they were located.
They always had multi stop loads going up to mi and Ohio.

If you have a note book of prior loads you pulled, I guess you can always try to establish a steady contact?
Maybe ask a land star guy for a agent book?
I'm not up on the step deck world so I don't know what shipper I'd call to try and bid on a dedicated contract.
I hear boats move a lot right now, maybe find out who books those?
Good luck and I'm glad you are physically well.

Have you looked into checking crst Malone load board? A lot of companies out their loads up that fall through with the main guys. Just a thought.

I didn't know one could use their load board, that weren't driving under their authority.... I use ITS and don't think any one particular load board would have better paying loads than any other load board. Am I wrong?

When I ran reefer, cr England had loads from their logistics department that were unrelated to the carrier that paid well too. I think Malone would have a similar thing. Just something to look at. The big guys usually have contracts to fulfill so they look outside.
    Never know

Try signing up and becoming approved to haul for ATS-Sureway, CRST Malone, Landstar, Mercer and Keen Transport. Finished product like machinery, chillers, commercial A/C units and vehicles will pay much better than most of that prefab you'll get from brokers on ITS.

Only I suggest this is because these companies have a lot of direct contracts with good rates that they sometimes post to their boards. Running under another authority you can opt in to becoming an approved carrier and look at their boards. Won't always be the best due to the fact that some of it is the stuff their drivers won't do, but sometimes you can find a gem here and their. Especially if you're in Stuttgart, AR or Manitowic, WI on Sureway.

We are an approved carrier for LandStar, Mercer and I think ATS I will call tomorrow on the others, as I haven't even thought about them. Just get so busy picking up freight, delivering freight and trying to find freight that I find it hard to do anything else but, am working towards being more organized..

I have dropped the ball on my paperwork but I will get caught up today, or most of it anyway. Once I do that, I will post some numbers and, maybe if I post my weekly numbers, someone will be able to enlighten me to what I can do different to generate more revenue per week. I appreciate all the responses to this thread and again, I apologize for not being more involved with this thread. Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there that didn't make it home. I am in Jonesboro, AR sitting at a small truck stop. I will deliver 1.5 miles down the road tomorrow morning..
