A lot of freight goes into Florida...but not a whole lot goes out. It's always been that way.

 

I'm over in Ukiah. Yes, it absolutely sucks around here now. I am this >< close to packing it in myself. I was born and raised here. I have never seen it this bad and it seems to be getting worse. The slow grind of a "recovery" is too little to late for a big part of this State.

It's always a bad sign when the tax base is fleeing the State.

If you think people are running from Texas to go to california...you are mistaken & there's no if's and's or buts about it.

 

$30K is possible but read the posts in "Report A Bad Company Here " and there are a lot of drivers making less than $400 a week . The same with $70K after 3 years . Only a small percentage make that . Figure 150,000 miles a year at $.40 a mile is only $60K . That's much more realistic but still not what the majority of OTR drivers get .
