Welcome to the forum first of all..
Maybe post your question in the "Jobs" thread? You don't say where your from or if your willing to relocate either..
Getting started may be a prob for you (if you don't know) as most companies will view you as brand new cause of (insurance) However "If ya want it" you will get it..
Good Luck!!

Look at System Transport. No negative reviews on the company.
My next choice would be Melton Truck Lines. Both companies trucks have APU's also.
8 yrs. out of the saddle will be a problem, but some companies have a re-training program. Much has changed in 8 yrs. When the 8 yr. problem comes up, ask the companies about refresher training.
The cheapest refresher I know of is Paschall Truck Lines, but it's dry van. It's $1500.00 unless you stay with the company a year, then it's free.Last edited: May 24, 2013
