I agree. I just hope that by then I will be considered experienced and will have options for better gigs.

Good thing those beat up trucks at Holland and Top Dawg Delivery aren't very glamorous LOL!

Even House of LaRose has a nice fleet of 16+ year old bare bones Kenworths.

My dad always said that I needed to work in an office so that is what I did but I always had a love for driving and also cars/trucks. If I could do it all over again I would have ignored what he said and went into auto mechanics in high school and went that route.

Try XPO. I don't know that they'll hire you but you never know. They offered my BIL a TT peddle route even though he only has B experience.

I was going to say they do hire new people from time to time.

@Cleveland_Greg XPO's terminal is over on Snow Road in Parma. There the old Conway Central Express (CCX back in the day) you could give them a shot. There a fairly stable outfit. The only thing I don't know is see back in the CCX days if you didn't have any seniority you would be on the extra board and have to sit by the phone and wait for it to ring.

Um Mains Food and Paper in Oakwood Village. They do Wendy's and Burger King. Now that job would be a lot of Extra Board at first and some of it would involve being gone over night as a sleeper team it wouldn't be everyday, but you would get a sleeper run out of state now and then.

Central stopped pulling doubles so he wouldn't have to worry about that. Yeah all there Sterlings just disintegrated it's funny how that is.
