PP Stage 1 BW and I went from around 7.4 mpg to around 8.0 mpg when I put the new manifold and turbo on. My old oringinal manifold was leaking pretty bad too.

I have worked on it real hard and totally changed my driving habits.

    Using www.mygauges.com helped alot too.

Wow, that's a good gain , how do you like that turbo, are you lacking any bottom end power compared to the factory turbo?

The spool up is slower at low rpms, but has alot more top end HP. It handles the heat alot better too. I recommend the boot on the turbo too.

    Mega-Flow® Mufflers

Walker® Commercial Vehicle mufflers are made in the USA and provide an economical replacement for OE components

    • All-aluminized 18-gauge steel
    • Domed heads to shed moisture for increased life
    • Bridge-constructed inlets and outlets for vibration resistance
    • Internally-welded baffles to increase durability
    • Smooth flow for better fuel economy
    [IMG]
Walker® offers a complete line-up of commercial vehicle mufflers with dimensional and backpressure data by SKU. Reference your new Master Catalog for detailed information on each muffler.

Specifically designed for Class 7 and 8 vehicles, Mega-Flow® combines Walker® quality and engineering with cutting-edge technology to deliver unparalleled performance (based on published competitive data); as much as 30% backpressure reduction without sacrificing acoustics. That means increased fuel efficiency and driver comfort.
    [IMG][IMG]
*Tests performed on a Peterbilt® Class 8 truck with a Caterpillar® C-12 engine. Measured on vehicles equipped with a Mega-Flow® Muffler and identical vehicles equipped with OE mufflers over a 6-month period for a total of 312,961 miles.

Key Features of the Mega-Flow® Muffler

    1. Reduced backpressure without sacrificing acoustics! The Mega-Flow® muffler combines an open-style design with OCF roving to produce a muffler that improves fuel efficiency without impact on acoustics, two key needs of the fleet. Other mufflers currently available address one at the expense of the other.
    2. Backed By the best guarantee in the industry! Only Mega-Flow® mufflers are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty plus an exclusive 90-day Safe & Sound Guarantee.
    3. Remetallized seams provide corrosion resistance! The Mega-Flow® muffler has remetallized welds that provide greater corrosion resistance. This remetallization process is unique to Walker® and ensures that your muffler will last longer and look better.
    4. The embossed shell distinguishes the Mega-Flow® muffler from others! The Mega-Flow® muffler looks as good as it performs. With its embossed logo on the body, you can tell you're getting something special, and so can everyone else.
