Remember to put on that safety vest before going into the shower, drivers, or you might get run over by the guy with the cleaning cart.
SheepDog Thanks this. -
What a crock of shizit, wearing a safety vest at all times. Since i have been home for four weeks i haven't heard about this bs.

You know..we all make fun of a lot of the rules or suggestions that our safety guys hand down, but the truth is they are all in response to some tragic incident.
Wearing safety vest, hanging up the phone and so on are good suggestions.
but if our safety departments wanted to pass an effective safety policy it could be summed up in one phrase...
notice to all drivers ; effective immediately !!!!
Please get your head out of your arse !!!!!
That is all .......91B20H8, 10speed, joseph1135 and 1 other person Thank this. -
At the Gary OC, nobody wearing vest.
realsupatrucka Thanks this. -
I noticed a LOT of safety vests in Charlotte, I figured it was a new rule that the students doing training had to have them on. Didn't realize it was everyone. I never got a message about the vests, I am guessing ICs are exempt, same as with footwear? Who knows. Rather odd rule, the vests, for sure.

LMAO what kind of a backwards company is that? -
On the vests , we were issued these on the previous account I was on. Told it was a customer rule, not SNI.This new account I'm on I haven't heard of nor seen anything posted at Obetz or from the office I'm dispatched out of in Illinois about you MUST wear it. Seems the safety team at Charlotte is the one going gestapo on us?
Truthfully, the things can be a pain in the ### slipping off the sleeves of my coat when I go to put my coat back on to go outside. Thinking of getting some kind of safety yellow w/reflective hoodie or coat anyway. Something as simple as a hat would suffice, I should think. Anything to scream, "hey!! I'm walking here!!!" -
As far as the bluetooth issue. I don't have one. I don't need one. When I am driving, I am driving. If I need to make a phone call, I pull over. My phone stays on the charger in the cubby in my truck. IF it rings, I look down to see who is calling, if it looks like an important call, I find a place to pull over and call them right back. -
