I don't understand some people on here. If a company is signing your checks, then you have to follow their policies. Its as simple as that. Do you go to the grocery store and see the clerk on their bluetooth? What about the teller at your bank? Drivers need to shut up and follow the #### rules. They are paying you to drive, not talk on your phone, even if you can do both at the same time it doesn't matter, its not what you are being paid to do. You will have atleast 10 hours to talk on your phone if you chose to do so in a day. I love Schneider, and I follow all their policies because I know they where set into place for my own safety. My life or another person's life is worth more than a #### phone call, it can wait! I'm proud to be a professional and safe driver! All these idiots out there on their phone's are the same ones that end up in the ditch, under a bridge, bringing down a light post, running into someone or something, or flipped over on a ramp. Take your job seriously and quit complaining, its what you are getting paid to do.

It used to be if you applied for a job and were hired the employer would set the rules and fire you if you didn't follow. Now everyone wants a job but they wanna tell the employer what they will and won't do. If you wanna be a boss start your own company and then do whatever you want but if you work for a company you don't own they have a right to dictate what you do. You are a AT WILL employee and do not need to stay there.

True company man. But if you think all of their policies are to set to keep you safe....laughable.

He'll find out what is for his benefit and what isnt. Just give it time. I do like hearing a new driver espousing being safe and professional though.

Moki? Just take it easy, drive well within your limits and do not over drive conditions. Anticipate other drivers, all drivers really. You'll see some stupid stuff happening for sure, maybe even by you. Learn from it all. Then apply those lessons.

He also wears his orange helmet with the company logo every time he's out of the truck.

Give it time. After a while the honeymoon wears off and he will be calling them everything but a working man.
