Right. They can not change anything when its just a continence (of the 2008 law). So the EOBR can only become law when they actually pass a new bill. Which can not happen right now because they cant get the 218 votes.

 

What's eclipse? If its an eobr that will work with a mechanical engine id be for that all the way.

And as we have seen with Heath Care it can be challenged in court. As long as we have the court make-up we have now it will never stick. The simple minded will take action based on EOBRs.

I had considered running it but decided not to.

IF something were to happen, your laptop would likely be seized if you were in an accident. Someone would likely want to go over it forensically to see if you manipulated your logs. As I plan on also keeping accounting information on the computer, that's not a risk I care to assume.

So I plan on papers.

IF I were to go anything, it would likely be with PeopleNet.

 

It's just a computer logging program, like Driver's Daily Log. It does not even come close to qualifying as an EOBR.

 

Anything can be challenged in court. The question is whether the court would support it, or not. The simple minded will fail to plan options for something that is quite probable, not just possible.
