I just got my 2007 Freightliner Columbia out of the shop because the driverside rear airbag was crooked, so I figured I would get all of the spring bushings, ubolts, and rear alignment done to fix the issue with my axle being off a little.

Well my rear axles still aren’t in line with each other and the shop I got it done at in downtown Baltimore claimed they did a rear alignment. Does anyone know the fix for this?

They need to shim the torque rods to center the axles to the frame rails. I’d have them check the alignment after to make sure it’s still in spec.

The measurement is taken from the dimple in the front rear axle end to the one in the rear-rear. Then compare that to the one taken on the other side.
If it is that far off I also wonder if they even used the correct parts.
