Rear suspension plastic slide blocks?

    Ok so i see this dude change the rear slide blocks on the Tube....tap them out and tap them in with a punch + hammer (yes after roller removed)...so i go out and look at mine.....no way in h*ll are they tap tap.

    Whats the trick to changing these things, looks to me like you need to compress that upper leaf? If so how? Or mayne im over thinking it and need to just get in there with a prybar until they come out.....

    You need to make a tool first. Quick disconnect union 5/8 (please check) with one side plugged with cold weld putty.
    Dump rear suspension air.
    Disconnect supply line to front rear axle airbags. Put the plug on supply line.
    Rise rear suspension. Replace pads on front rear axle.
    Dump air again. Re connect front axle and do the rear in same order.

    So just take the load off the axle you want to replace the wear pads by removing air from it.....ill give it a go....thanks.
