Well, giant, the name of the game out here is CYA, preferably from every angle. If it's that close to being impossible tell em to go suck eggs and do it right

I'd rent a monkey for the day. Of course he'd have to have a class A to assist with their demands.

Legal or not it's always the same a bam bal ance chasing lawyer is gonna be trying to crucify driver company etc. It's simple your the driver make your own call. It's you that has to live with the outcome not me or any one else here. But don't listen to a word I say I'm a blood thirsty outlaw with plenty of pages time experience and a manual motor good luck downloading my ####

There was a terrible accident a couple of months back in my hometown of Chattanooga TN. The driver was running outlaw for a small trucking company. He apparently dozed off and didn't notice that traffic was stopped for construction. He killed six people, including two children. He had been running way over his HOS and is now sitting in jail awaiting trial on six charges of negligent homicide. He will likely spend the rest of his life in prison. Is it worth it to get in a few extra miles per day? Not to me.

There's no way to get around it anymore....just run legal or run away from that company or....gamble with fate.

I would calmly tell them, that what they ask is not realistic and most likely illegal. If they doubt what you are saying, invite them to spend a full day with you on the trip. If they want to put their unrealistic expectations of you in writing...great!

Not always , it won't ...better to do it right ( LEGAL ) and not take that chance.....no load of anything worth going to jail for....it's all up the individual though , AND at the end of the day.....you must make that choice , then own that choice if the situation warrants it.

Tony is right. There is also something else to consider. If you do this for them then they have you pegged and will not be afraid to pile other stuff on you at will. I found this out the hard way the first time I took a break from driving a stagecoach and went to drive a truck. It was even for a family friend, but he was perfectly willing to take advantage of my good nature toward him. Always remember they really and truly couldn't give a crap about you. It is always about the almighty dollar, and you are just the mouse that pushes the cheddar to their door......
