If your truck is overloaded and you get a ticket at the scalehouse, it's not going to work taking a fake Cat scale (blind bol) ticket into give the officer

Why not? This is standard in the industry. The scale masters know what is going on.

Who pays the shipping when you buy cereal at the supermarket? It's exactly the same crap. It's not complicated. If you don't like the cost then find another dealer or find a direct source. It's all factored into the purchase price and uncompetitive dealers go under.

Not even how it works. Most blind bol's are through a 3rd party buyer/seller(product broker, not truck broker) They purchase for X amount and sell for X amount. It would be working against themselves to try and charge more because the bol's show it came from further away.

Why do some worry about how much someone else makes? Because they"re able to negotiate better?

I'll bet that you think the packaging that are product comes in is the same as the manufacturer of the product. When produce comes out of a field, it's packaged into many name boxes. That's true for many things.

    ..........:True Story:......

I picked up a load of steel out of Chicago for delivery in Pennsylvania.
Broker sent over blind BOL showing it came from Texas.

Receiver, a dumpster manufacturing business in the middle of the woods was a bunch of really pissed off rednecks. They said, "where in the F. did this S. come from? This is B grade steel we don't use this crap"

I said, "I got it from the mill in Texas"
I had to lie to these pissed off rednecks, not a good situation to be in, was I going to get unloaded?

The guy said, "bull S, we don't make crap with that cheap stuff, and your telling me this came from the mill in Texas?"

Y'all truck drivers don't think cheating doesn't happen with blind BOL's, than your just as blind as the BOL it self.;)

How do you know the company in Chicago didn’t get the steel from Texas? When I pick stuff up at the port I don’t show up at my delivery and say I picked it up in Germany.

Aww, because the customer recognized something that he did NOT order? The words from the story, from the receiver was "bull S, your telling me this came from Texas?"

That was the point of the story. Read it again:)
