But your "story" doesn't even come close to what you are saying about the freight. You keep saying that the freight is charged from the further point and you're getting ripped of because you're only being paid from where it really picked up. Really glad I don't go through life as a victim.

I don't see the complication I doing blind loads. Its simply cutting the movement in half. I got a load in Arkansas in which the bills indicated the dropoff to be somewhere in Florida, but I was given an address to Gastonia, NC. If I took it to Florida, then another truck would have had to take it to Gastonia. So its just worked out to save time and money

Sorta that, but really its so businesses are kept in the dark and not getting better rates for dealing direct.

No thanks. I've tried explaining it. If you want to go back and read over my comments you can, but thanks for asking

Basically: most shipments are not paid in a mileage based sense. It’s generally “All in pricing”. You buy it for one price, both product and transportation, delivered to your door. Or you can get a possible discount if you handle the logistics.
Shipping is not broken out as a separate line item.

If you buy something off the computer that has free shipping, does that change if it’s in a warehouse 5 miles from your house or 2000? Nope, doesn’t change. You pay an all in price.
As a buyer: you get an all inclusive price.

All you have to do is have some blank BOL’s, like the kind JJ Keller makes. And make a temporary bill showing the real pickup address and delivery... use this for transit... when you get to the reciever, hand them the blind bill... or vice versa if the real bol shows the real shipper... then you use that one until you deliver, and give the handwritten or broker made blind bill.
