Has any one tried FP From federal mogul company rebuild kids, how is it? Is there any good products apart from FP, I do understand that dealership has oem but I do not want to go through that route because I can't afford it now. I have Detroit 60 series 2001 engine. I need an input from trucker's who has used any inframed aftermarket kits that are made and engineered in the united States and what's your input so that I can made a well informed decision. Thanks you all

So far so good. 50k miles. Rings sealed up pretty good right from the beginning. No oil slobber from exhaust at all. My OEM rebuild on last Truck slobbered oil for about 1000 miles after the inframe, till rings/liners matched up a bit. It’s common. This kit never happened though. Seems to be good so far. Hoping for increased mpg, soon. It used some oil for the first 20-25k. That’s normal. It hasn’t used much since. Think it’s almost broke in.

The top bearing always wears more, also that is not poor quality parts but timing.
