REBUILD KIT SUGGESTIONS

so, all 12.7 stock from factory had this problem???? it makes no sense.can you explain it better?

 

If you rebuilt it the cam got out of time happens all the time. Poor workmanship blamed on parts.

There is a tool to hold the cam gear in place most say you don’t need it. There is also a procedure to check the cam timing by measuring the lift of an injector lobe at TDC.

PAI makes a quality kit. They are just about the only after market kit I will use. Thing about any part is they are only as good as the install.
