So Melton has been a great when it comes to customer service. The have called me every day to check if I'm still interested. My only issuers are
❌Training is 6 weeks
❌ They don't seem to have good home time
❌Tarping (I'm no stranger to hard work, just comparing companies)
Swift, on the other hand, lower quality with customer service. But they seem to match my needs everywhere else.
✔️Have dedicated routes
✔️ Training is closer (hour drive vs Melton a 6 hour flight)
But I feel like I'm missing something. Any advice? I'm making my decision literally after this thread lol

Are you choosing just these two because of recruiters and pre hires? Baaaaaaaaaaad.
Slow down a bit, name your location and see if there’s a better gig for you. -
Swift Refrigerated is a good choice.

Do you have endorsements?
Doesn't matter how far away the headquarters/terminal is as long as you have a place to park the truck near or at your house.tscottme Thanks this. -
You should want a decent length of training time…6weeks isn’t really all that long when you think about it..

Off top my head Melton. But good recruiter is not indicative of how company is. And biggest varible is you as to how you like it. One person will like what another hates.
Trainers are usually people with a year or so experience. So make best of it. They can teach you alot but might have habits you be better to forget. Do a lot of backingBruceyj2 Thanks this. -
They both have freight. They both have miles. Either would be a good choice in my opinion. It's a matter of what you prefer. Open road or regional? Flatbed or dry van/reefer? Look at thise things. Don't pay attention to how a recruiter talks to you. They talk to every prospective employee that way.
