Steve, a recruiter at Crete, regularly called me for more than a year. Super-nice guy.

    From a strictly business/conference table viewpoint....perhaps.

From a practical standpoint...my guess is the average driver really doesn't/won't care. :dontknow:

For the average driver....in either fleet....who's looking for a place to park near the end of his or her shift...and is running out of options...the thinking here is that the term "sister".....probably helps it stick in their mind better....that they can park at either/both.

Not really sure how that works. I see very few Knight trucks at Swift terminals, and the couple Knight terminals I have been in are not very Swift friendly.
Our key cards do not work at the Knight terminals as far as I know.
I've never seen a list of Knight terminals that I might be able to use.

Not that it matters that much to me. I avoid using a terminal whenever possible.

I’d go Melton, Maverick, etc. over Swift. Training isn’t fun, but it’s a very short period over an entire career. Flatbed is best learned early on. Flatbed experience translates to dry van, but dry van doesn’t really transfer to flatbed. If I wanted to go flatbed at any midsize or larger carrier, I’d have to go to a starter company, even with 4 years experience door swinging. Tanker companies are usually pretty accepting of any experience with a short training phase.

Reefer has the longer and more interesting runs if you’re wanting adventure, but it seems you’re more worried about home time, so probably not the best option.
