Man up!!! There's no reason whatsoever that you have to sacrifice yourself for a year. Job hopping doesn't look good on your resume either! Get the job you want now! Sure its going to take a lot more effort but trust me, you would much rather take the time to find a good job from the beginning then working for a mega-carrier. You know what mega-carriers LOVE to do? They really love tarnishing your DAC report after you have driven for them so that you aren't hireable anywhere else! I once had SWFT report that I was fired from them on my DAC report! All I did was fill out an application! I never even attended an orientation or talked to a recruiter!
There are plenty of good smaller companies to drive for in your area. Look around you.... everything you see has pretty much gotten there because of a truck right? All you have to do is find out who brought it there. What are some major industries in your area? Find out the trucking companies that do business with them. Take a drive around and just start writing down names of trucks you see.
Take the time to do your homework.... -

You can get legal representation to dispute any false claims put on there. I did it myself without a lawyer and got it fixed. Its good to every once and awhile get a copy of your DAC and monitor it. Just like your credit report.

Roehl has that crazy home fleet option thing...what is it 7 on 7 off or 14 on 7 off......that gets you hometime and experience.

I know Super Service sends some applicants to Grand Rapids, Michigan. I do not know how they are though.

So where did you end up going to? -
