Boy don’t do it to yourself.

Heed my advice I personally know friends from school who went there and they say it is literally and figuratively worse than prison.

I read over it and was like “how the hell do you miss those when you pretrip?”

I think I know the answer. You’ve got to pretrip the vehicle. LOL

Chances are Georgia DPS shut them down for a violation or more.
Nobody wants to hang out by the DOT scale house-especially in Georgia!!lol

It’s mostly the trailers that they kept past their shelf life that was their Achilles’ heel.
When I worked there at least 3/4 of the trailer fleet was at least 10 years of age, sometimes older. And that’s not including the trailers they inherited when they bought SMX. And that’s not also including the trailers that they rented or leased from other companies(mostly Stoughton Leasing).

What's your CPM? Just curious. Please give a hard numerical answer.

They probably got shut down right there. Chances are they probably had DOT standing right by the scales and put them OOS(something Georgia is known for doing).

First of all it’s rather cheeky to ask what I get paid. I’m going to answer because there’s no shame in what I make.

I get $0.34 per mile. But as a trainer I get paid for all my miles and my trainees miles. So 4500 to 6000 per week.
I get $25 for any clean dot inspection
I get $35 for layover pay
    $20 for each additional stop.
Detention is a case by case basis.
I T-Call a lot of loads because I’m early and the local guys deal with delivery.
I get additional pay for doing extra things.
CPM for short hops can be up $0.55.
I’m in a 2019 Prostar that I’ve had since it got delivered. I’ve put 80,000 miles on it.
The majority of trailers we see now are new to 2 years old. The old one are going bye-bye.
Running solo or as a trainer we’ve got the freight to run me as hard as I want to go.
    Hometime matches the industry standard
The biggie is they leave me alone. I don’t have a jillion macros to send. I talk to someone on the phone maybe once or twice every two weeks.
My pay is always on time.
I always get paid what I’m supposed to.
Trainee pay is now $700 per week / $100 per day

There’s a rumor floating that we’re about to get a nice pay raise as well

    Anything else you want?
