I saw that bobtail onside of road,had small orange sticker on driver window, guess that driver had enough

 

They don't report issues because a lot of drivers don't know what issues are.I use the term drivers loosely because a lot of them are afraid to get dirty, I often wonder how many don't even check the oil because they're too lazy to lift the hood. Hats off to OITW, he's making it good for himself and definitely has the right attitude.If you think life's gonna sμ©]< then it's going to.

 

Lately I've watched numerous drivers(wannabes) not even do pre trip inspections...ive watched them get up in the morning and sit there and then go inside and come back and then the trk lights come on and they drive out...pathetic...steering wheel wannabes

 

How do you know they didn't do a very thorough post trip at the end of the day? That's how I do it. If nothing is wrong in the morning I check the tires and do a quick walk around and i'm gone.

 

Excuses... Because I'm sitting there in my truck parked directly next to them and they never get out of the truck and do a walk around of any kind in the morning... Frankly this new breed of drivers is nothing short of a pathetic excuse of wanna be drivers...

 

If hometime consistency is of interest to you, don't even bat Western Express an eye. I did about 6 months with them, first time i got into flatbed as well... Having said that, It's a good company to launch yourself into the flatbed genre. Their flatbed instructors are legit. Just get your load securement learning on, and get the #### out as soon as you start getting comfortable, because believe me... You are going to wish you never got comfortable there.
