Ok so I just ran across this site. I am be a little late. But I agree w/ 95% of what has been said on this thread. There is an easy way to get the money to us that need it the most. However, we will need a little help from God! A natural disaster needs to hit every politican in the country whether it be tornado, earthquake, hurricane anything. And let them see what it feels like to not be 100% sure your next meal is hot and ready whenever they are ready to eat! Let them fight the banks and insurance companies they are bailing out to get their house back. Make them use all the millions they have socked away in their personal accounts to get their families back in a home. Then have to worry about rebuilding. B/c that is exactly what today's middle class folks are fighting to do on a daily basis. I got laid off 2 yrs ago. We were ok till my husband got laid off back in Sept. He was a auto body man. And well we all know it will take years for his industry to come back. But some how we managed to stay in our rented home and keep his '96 GMC truck and me in my 2000 Jeep (both bought used for cash). We have no credit cards or loans of anykind. But managed to keep what little we have and never miss a meal while only making 27k last year. So sad when your kids understand it has to be on sale or clearance and/or have a coupon or you can't have it even at the grocery store! I don't ask for anything from the government but there comes a time when you scratch your head and say. STOP BAILING OUT THE RICH!!!!!!!!!! and teach them how to make there money strecth like the rest of us!

The whole thing w/ the execs payscale is crap. I got a new payscale for them its real simple it goes like this: If your company turns a profit you get a pay check. If your company goes in the red you get nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! Not either way we will pay you 9million dollars in 5 yrs (FREDDIE MAC)!!!!!!!!!

OK I am done ranting for now! Be safe boys and keep it between the yellow lines!!!!!!!:biggrin_25525:

NP! I just think they could all learn from a mom trying to feed and keep a roof over her families head, and clothe a family of 4 or more on less than $300 a week and survive!

    MCR6468 Thanks this.

They(the politicians) are never without....imagine getting sick and having the best health care possible? And security? 24/7 and paid for by the common taxpayer.
Food? Always plenty and the best...imagine if society collapsed what a bind they would be in....most would probably die in just a few days....
The pharoes said they would return....and they did, now what we need is a modern day Moses to liberate the common man/woman. And just a hint: it's not Obama.

All I am saying is if they really want to balance the budget. Get a cabinet of non working moms in there to show them how to really save money!

    MCR6468 Thanks this.

In economics, the term recession generally describes the reduction of a country's gross domestic product (GDP) for at least two quarters.[1][2] The usual dictionary definition is "a period of reduced economic activity", a business cycle contraction

    2
Though there is no widely accepted definition for an economic depression, according to an article in The Economist, there are two rules of thumb found widely on the internet. One is a decline in real GDP exceeding 10%, and the other is a recession lasting 3 or more years

im not trying to bust your chops, i just saw this, and thought it might help.
    sincerely, RJ

I heard something on the radio that claimed our government is going to give GAZA
    millions of dollars to rebuild.....WHY????
How can they do that when it is a place that harbours HAMAS.???
Does the government think that they can improve that place??Maybe turn it into a swanky resort for Americans and better yet politicians??? The new LAS VEGAS??
Why does this government feel that it has to do something like this? And where is democracy? Shouldn't the American taxpayer -vote- a yay or nay on this, this is my tax money going to rebuild a place I will never see nor would ever want to!
More important is when will this spending end????
