I no longer work for a DTNA dealer. So I can no longer access partspro. But your local dealer should be able to help you.

When adding a little freon there is a sweet spot to achieve. If you go past it and over charge the system vent temps will go up.

You can pick up an ac vent temp thermometer. It looks like a Turkey thermometer which will also work but it nearly as easy to see.
With ac blowing on high and compressor running, check vent temp before putting freon in and record it.

Then put like half a 12 oz can in and watch the vent temp a few minutes if you can get it in the low 40s you have nice AC. Put too much in and those vent temps will start climbing.

If the freon is real low the compressor may not come on until you've put most of a 12oz can in.
