Sorry guys for the confusing question. What I'm meaning to say is, I'm an Ohio Resident who obtained a cdl in Indiana. I didnt switch my Indiana CDL over to my home state yet when the offense occurred.

To ease the confusion how bout telling us when ya got your CDL, and when ya got the violation
-
hopefully the authorities will be as lost in the translation as we were before it and all your cdl troubles will prove to be nonexistent.
it can and does happen.this is trucking afterall.
get an attorney to walk you through it.first call should be free.make that a transportation attorney like that jim klepper in all the truckstop magazines- -
Your license is suspended, period.
If you are still driving, you are doing it without a valid CDL.
It may not have caught up to you yet, but it will.
When you got arrested for the offense it was with the Indiana CDL.
And that is what was suspended!
The court does not suspend a non-existent Ohio license, it suspends your current one.
Do you really think that you can do anything in any state except the state that issued you the CDL, and get away with it?
And you do know that you are required to transfer you CDL to the new state of residence within a very short period of time, right?NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
yes it can happen.infrequently at best but it can.he needs to get on it and get a transportation attorney.
he could very well drive again.and soon. -
In the meantime the OP is driving with a suspended license.
-
no disagreement with that one.i wasn't in disagreement originally just stating that he might drive again due to getting things straightened out.many times it is ALL ABOUT the big fines and court costs.
-
I missed something here where does he say he is still driving and second if he pays the fines and goes to the class the susp will be lifted. They do that for out of state licences so they get the fine money. As for his question the answer is it is a major black mark on your licence, even sneeze and you wont have one. Every time you screw up even if it is minor they will issue you a ticket and not a warning.
x#1 Thanks this. -
yes sir.IT IS ALL ABOUT THE FINES and they love the money and they will, for the most part, work with you for that money.
thank you MH. -
