Hopefully you did not pay Falcon for that system. It is on Amazon for a lot cheaper from manufacturer.

This is the store on Amazon. Go look at all the Pictures. I almost fell for it when I got my system. Screenshot 2024-07-28 at 9.58.18 PM.png

I did and it is a great value to me, maybe not to anyone else. I bought the same system as you have on Amazon many years ago and all the instructions were in Chinese. I spent several hours of my time trying to get it to record and download. I did keep that system for the parts. One sideswipe several years ago and 3 weeks of my loss of use paid at my normal revenue rate by her insurance company paid for my system 20 something times over. The top shelf is full of some of the “parts” I kept. The cables do work with my current system but, I threw the DVR in the trash. IMG_2624.jpeg

My Trucks parked. Would like to have cameras to see who if anyone is sniffing around my Truck. Inside cameras with audio also. So I could turn them on during a traffic stop. Including audio on the outside of Truck. Would have won a couple cases in the past, with video and audio. Proving Perjury after they lie to the Judge.

I actually bought the wrong one when I first got mine. So I ended up keeping it and bought the other one. First one was a 4 channel. think but has all the same parts. So now I have all extra cables and cameras with a back up system if ever needed.

They have made it easy to set up and log in. Customer service is decent and considered good in today's market of worthless employees. I have no complaints on the system and installed it all by my little self while I was sick as ####. That is why I never finished doing the trailer. I might get it all done sometime this year when I decide to take a little bit of time off.

If I am going to be off work for more than a week and leave the system running I hook a battery tender up. The solar powered tender I use is designed for RV’s but it works fine for me.

The system I have has a mic for inside but nothing for outside recording. Could most likely add a splitter and make something work if really wanting to do it.
I run my system 224/7 and have the camera system hooked direct to starter battery bank. When I had my AGM batteries it would do fine for a week with battery cut off for everything else. I do have the Thermoking Solar panel installed as well. to maintain the batteries.

With these new batteries I have now I think I could let it sit for a few weeks and never have any issues. Set over the weekend and only took 2 percent of one battery. Lots of cloudy days would be different but anything with decent sun I fill pretty good about.

How long did it take you to install? Wondering if it is a DIY job.

If you work on your truck you can do it fairly easy in a few hours. The only connections you need to make are to a power source, fuse box or direct power source. The cameras and cables are a twist connector. My old system had one wire to constant hot and one to the key, but my current system does better with both to constant hot. The monitor has a power button so I turn it off when not driving.

Agreed it took a couple hours to run all my cables. That is the hardest part to keep it neat.

I ran mine straight to the battery and runs 24/7

Easy, put a Ring doorbell on each side of the truck. Done!
