Thinking about it. A 400 watt inverter should run it I'm to tired ATM to check the peak wattage on mini fridge but pretty sure it is even under 200. Just make sure it's a good plug and it is in there tight should work
Edit nevermind did some searching apparently they have a higher then normal peak compared to most electronics the steady draw is less than 100 watts though... Maybe someone here has an idea where you could switch from main inverter to small inverter without repeaking the wattage
Recommend me a fridge.

I just bought a edgestar fp630. Its pretty high quality, But its on the expensive side, about 550 for the 630 and the 43qt is about 450.

Just how much room is a in these things? I don't understand the quarts to steak conversion I guesse lol

Well you get what you pay for as they say.If you get a cheap fridge that's what you get.Stick with "a good brand"Boattlebot Thanks this.

Well the 63qt one is pretty big i think. I think you would be happy with the 43 qt. Only reason i got the 63 was because it was an extra 100 for the next size bigger and i was already spending 450 i said why the heck not.
But with the 63 you could fit enough steaks to feed yourself for a month.
Its more room then i really need.
If you got the 43 you would be able fit some yogurt, some milk and cheese and chicken breaksts and steaks and fruits and vegetables and youd probably still have some room left over.
Only compromise is, depends on what temperature you set it too. SO if you set it for freezing, you wont be able to keep things like milk and vegetables and stuff like that. But if you have it right above freezing, you can store everything except icecream. And of course you will be able to store things for longer before spoiling if you go with freezing.
Its something you might want to consider before buying a unit. Think about what you really want to keep in it and for how long you plan on storing it.Boattlebot Thanks this. -
And im not by any means saying you should buy the edgestar, i just bought it myself and have hardly used it.
But i have heard others swear by it and its got good reviews.
You wont be able to buy it at a truck stop tho i recommend ebay. If you know how to shop on it youll be able to find a new unit for a bit cheaper then the store or other sites will sell it for.
It is 12v/24v ac & dc so you have many choices with it.Boattlebot Thanks this. -
Ok sounds good. I've been eating canned stuff and truck stop food long enough to do it longer for a decent fridge. Honestly what I'd probably keep in it is cold cutsmostly. Maby oven pizzas (gunna buy a toasteroven) and stuff like that. Might keep a steak in there for when I really have some down time

150$ later I have a fridge and inverter. Only issue is its to freakin big. Oops.
Shops gunna do me a solid and hard wire the inverter and take a cabbnit out for me
