I'm looking to start my career doing OTR work and would like suggestions on companies with rider policy as yes. I'm looking at Prime Inc in MO, or Trainco in Perrysburg for training. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A lot of community colleges have driver training. Clark state and columbus state come to mind.

Is Ohio your only option?

I would suggest Abilene Motor Express girl. I choose them bet the rest of the company thats in my list! Trust me you will love it over here!
They have rider and pet policy plus the truck governed at 68! I believe prime is 62. The have freight everywhere and they keep you running! You will haul dryvan and reefer. Eversince I got hired here I have no complain so far! Automatic trucks so it saves you on heavy traffic like LA and Newyork!
Its not in Ohio though but since you're going OTR then VA shouldn't be an issue. If you have any question feel free to PM me and I can give you more details
Chinatown Thanks this. -
If you are looking at Prime Check out Jim Palmer but if you are wanting to stay IN OHIO for what ever reason...ONLY ONE COMPANY and that is MILLIS...I am no longer with them I can answer a lot your questions about Millis. Good luckRedRover Thanks this.

I am looking for a one time company, I dont want to keep switching companies thus just wondering what runs around ohio for when i have home time. I'm not familiar with routes of companies and such. But I am looking for a decent company to work for.
