Millis runs East of the Mississippi not just eastern states though. A lot of Georgia, Wisconsin, and rest of Midwest.

Also with Millis trucks are very nice. I got out of trainers truck and was given a 2016 Kenworth 680 with 9000miles on it. Fridge, DirecTV, inverter, and Siriusxm radio paid for by Millis.

I will agree 100% with what @firemedic2816 said. Millis is awesome. The have a school in Trenton Ohio, which is also a hub. They have trucking routes that will get you in the area you are looking for. I live just a bit south of Akron, and getting home will never be an issue for both regional or OTR because they have deliveries that go to Cleveland and Akron. I just finished school there, and I am hitting the road with my trainer this weekend. Feel free to send me a private message if you need any info.

If you want to see the West Coast:
    Abilene Motor Express
    Freymiller
    Magnum Ltd.

If seeing the West Coast isn't important:
    Millis Transfer
    Tyson Foods
    Schuster
Veriha Trucking - home most weekends.

My suggestion is stay close to home...if not, you may be looking at days on a hot bus with third world refugees....

Don't let cameras scare you away from a good company. It'll be the norm eventually. And, they can save your job. If someone causes you to have an accident, you're going to be awfully glad that you have an electronic witness proving your innocence. Millis has them too. One facing in, one facing out. I will eventually get extra cams of my own. They can, and have, saved people's jobs. Companies without cameras will eventually be difficult to find. They are catching on fast and it saves companies a ton on insurance.

Was told Freymiller mostly stick to the midwest/east when I asked about their lanes. Still waiting to hear back from them. No trainers apparently (non-smokers that is).

Does Millis have APUs? Just applied with them. (Edit: well apparently they don't hire west of Mississippi) :(

I should have gone Abilene but they are in Richmond and got a letter from them saying they weren't going to hire me. Think because I backed out to think about it some more.
