No. I posted that to show that you are ?????? (since we have stooped to insults) thinking that a prospective employer should believe you for no reason other than it's "your word" that you worked someplace and because you said so then it must be so. Like others have posted, the employer that you are applying to has to "try" to validate that you worked (somewhere) and if the previous employer is unresponsive then your prospective employer should try to vett you somehow don't you think?

If the past employer refuses to answer the question, then you have your answer. They have likely worked there and it's now been verified.
Geez I hate it when a company feels it's their right to impose additional requirements on employees and people feel they have no right to stand up for themselves.
And people wonder why this country is going to hell in a hand basket.
