Most of what recruiters are going to tell you is a boldface lie. There one and only job is to put an ### in the seat, they are usually paid commission to do this.

At least my boss was honest with, truthfully compared to a mega he is not too bad. I think we have 14 or so drivers

I’ve looked through numerous threads and posted a couple about what to ask recruiters and what to expect when talking to recruiters, but what can you expect when talking to them on the phone for the first time? Is it like an interview? If it goes horribly on your end and you don’t hear back from them or doesn’t lead to a job will they remember you later on if you applied there months later and talked to their recruiters again? Any pointers for handling a phone call with a recruiter for the first time, and does it look bad if you opt to text or email instead of call or if you don’t answer the call the first time they call?

Whenever I get a call from a recruiter I quickly tell them that I'm a recruiter for Swift and send everybody that I hate to him
