Looks like it's finally started that right turn they expected 36 hours ago or is it just caroming off of Cuba and will soon resume westward movement?

Daytona has 16,000 men and women from alp over the country including Canada ready to repair power lines and utility poles.

If the ones who decided to stay in Key West are still in the streets running around in their Speedos they might want to find a tall tree to climb. That town is getting ready to go 15' underwater.

Wish I could leave but my company has abandoned me here in Atlanta. I'm afraid if I just up and leave they will fire me and I will be out of a job 3000 miles from home. THIS SUCKS!!!!

Buy a rain slicker and some rain boots. If you stay in Atlanta long enough you're going to need them. Top off with fuel now.

You are listening to the weather aren't you?I haven't heard anything about Atlanta. But I suggest you listen to the weather if its going to head your way hell with your company you leave immediately. If they fire you then they're not worth driving for and you can sue them for wrongful termination.

    Agreed.

@Plantfeeder - F the company, F HOS rules, F the FMCSA. Drive it like you stole it & are running for your life. Move to the inland, mountainous, Carolina's for now, at least.

Quick edit: Tell them, via whatever ELD you're using - email, something written, essentially - I do not feel safe here and I'm leaving - I'll let you know where I hunker down (and let then know - again, in writing, what your safe 20 is). Then you can pursue litigation if they try to can you.
