I've seen hundreds of cars, today, heading West with surfboards strapped to the roof.
None of this about the "big one" is on any of the news channels.

 

I’ve seen nothing about this from any news station, or government page.

 

I guess I'm far enough inland to be safe.

Not nice for the people living there, but they should have gotten out while they had the chance.
How many red flags have to pop up before people will take notice?

At one point he is saying that it isn't normal, then goes on to say it has happened before just a few hundred years ago.
So... it is normal over a certain time scale.
What has happened before will happen again. Sounds familiar.

It is the same with climate change. Things get colder and then warmer and then colder and then warmer...
Our technology and how we use it might be responsible for altering the change to some degree, but that change has always been there.

Our influence could be accelerating the warming rate, or reducing the cooling rate.
And since we seem to be (by all the powers that be at the moment) the controlling factor in all of this, who is to say one way or the other?

Is there a metric that can calculate the warming and cooling cycles of a planet without biological influences?
