I drive a straight truck, the plate is convienently bent and obscured from the above angle by lift gate parts, been like that for 2 years.
How would they go about enforcing it by a trailer anyway, is it up to the company to track down who was pulling that trailer at the time?

I've pulled quite a few wind blades through Marshall. I've had dozens of pilot cars in the rear that have been snapped going through lights. None of them have ever received a citation.

Been through there a few times and always worried about the lights though never had a close call like today luckily. The one today was on Texas 114 and Litsey in Roanoke. It's a 60mph road with the last part having a few lights with cameras.

In some states anytime you are in the intersection under red you are in violation. Weather you crossed the stop line under yellow, or even green, is immaterial.

Red light camera tickets are issued against the owner. If a carrier later wanted to get the offending driver its most of the time just a few key clicks away. Several years ago I deliberately ran through an unmanned toll gate on one of Oklahoma's turnpikes. I found the right person at the company and told her. She said its OK we get these things all the time. I have a question about red light camera tickets. Do you get points?

When I'm approaching a stale green light, if I'm sipping along in low rpm's I downshift so my rpm's are at least 1500 then engage the Jake on high (without taking my foot off the throttle). The reason I do this is in the event the light turns yellow just as I'm entering the "go" or "no go" decision I will have maximum Jake power to assist light application of brakes if I decide to stop. Even with totes full of Hazmat liquid it's surprising how little room you need to stop. My truck has muffled jakes, so I disregard the "No Jakes" signage.

If you don't downshift in this situation and continue to cruise in low rpm's the Jake won't help very much at all. The Jake will turn itself off at 800 rpm's to avoid stalling the engine, and provides very little braking effect below 1200 rpm.

Be heads up approaching stale green lights and prepare for the yellow.

"""No. Cameras are set so that only those vehicles that enter the intersection after the light has turned red are photographed. Vehicles entering the intersection on yellow, and still in the intersection when the light turns red, are not photographed."""

The above is on TX DOT website I just saw. I suppose a tractor trailer still counts as one vehicle.
