Blast those contraptions! I got one in Taylor Tx recently. Three in the morning, a forty thousand pound load and wet pavement. I saw the light turn green then seconds later just as I was almost at it turn yellow. I made a snap decision to go through since hitting the brakes might have shifted the load or caused me to skid into the center of the intersection. No traffic was in sight. It went red while I was midway through the intersection and I saw the flash.
I still haven't had any notifications, either from my boss who owns the truck or the trailer owners. -
I've had a couple of infared Camara's snap. there hasn't been any reason for them go off that I'm aware of and nothing has ever happened after wards. the last time was in a border patrol check point in Texas..
Idaho weigh station before that hmm -
We have the same issue here.
I saw one light myself with a yellow time of about 1 1-2 seconds, so I don't want anyone to try and tell me that crap is all about safety. -
Camera tickets are issued to the registered owner of the vehicle, not necessarily the driver because there's no way to determine who was actually driving, so there are no points or anything involved.TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.

Not the cameras out here. They take video as well as pictures.
