Been there done that... 3 red lights between Ft. Wayne and Valparaiso turned really fast on me one night, was loaded floor to ceiling, nose to tail with eggs... I wasn't slamming the brakes when I could see that no cross traffic was coming.MACK E-6, Lonesome, Albertaflatbed and 2 others Thank this.

I run 30 across Indiana a fair amount.. you would understand this when your loaded with mixed feeders and their decked & not gated you Dam sure don't brake hard cause the light went red 50 or 60' in front of ya .. Ft. Wayne & Valparaiso are short timed lightsAlbertaflatbed, Another Canadian driver and Cattleman84 Thank this.

I used to run through there about twice a week for nearly 5 years.
Yeah hitting the brakes hard loaded like that is a good way to get broken legs or something down for the count.Albertaflatbed, Another Canadian driver and Last Call Thank this. -
Advice? Pay the fine and keep it moving. It isn't like this will kill your driving record.
Albertaflatbed, Another Canadian driver and Cattleman84 Thank this. -
Had a deal for a year or so going east across there with breds cut south in Ft Wayne on 27 down to 33 zig zag south east through Ohio and come back the same way with feeders .. always tried to come across Indiana at night just because of those lightsAlbertaflatbed, Another Canadian driver and Cattleman84 Thank this.

Maybe you should all go with truckeagle to court as witnesses to convince the judge that the ticket should be thrown out?

I was the same way... Didnt want to run through there in the day light. And rush hour was no joke when you started getting close to Valparaiso.Lonesome, Albertaflatbed, Another Canadian driver and 2 others Thank this.

I'm not saying it should be thrown out... If it were me I'd just pay it and get on down the road.Long FLD, Albertaflatbed, Another Canadian driver and 2 others Thank this.
