The problem is those big companies running on debt are the ones going to end being "too big to fail."

I drove a used 2000 Tundra for 14 years/200,000 miles because I hate debt. I just sold my center console and paid off my new(er) truck. Being lean is good during times like these.

Spot on. We're planning on planting twice the size of our usual produce crop this Spring. We had a direct haul (flat bed & OS) all set up to start on May 1st to supplement our farming operation, but sales tanked with this China thing, now he doesn't need us. That's OK though, that's not our bread & butter.

A good conservative disciplined business plan, along with diversity is the key. Focusing on something that's necessary for survival just sweetens the pot for success, especially right now.

Food hauling will be the first aspect to come back strong, hang in there fellas...

Nobody really knows what will happen and I could very well go broke too ...I still have a truck payment .
But one thing is for certain, the market will adjust and always will .

Only if the G bails 'em out, like they're likely gonna do with Boeing. Personally, with the exception of guys losing their jobs, I wouldn't mind seeing a few megas fail, along with a few mega corporate "farms", and I use the term farm loosely, good riddance....

Italy is just starting to get better, but they are putting off opening back up. And they are a couple months more advanced in this than we are. It won't be May 1st anymore for them.

My past couple loads have been fewer miles, but I am still running as dry van.

My 18 year old daughter is in Italy and was due to come back April 9th after a 3 month visit.
She has no idea of when she will get back here, especially with things getting worse here.

Just passing by and bzinger Thank this.
