Stopped at the pilot on top of Monteagle. It was all orderly until night hit. The have a section with stripes at the entrance. A few used it to run in and grab a bite to eat. Then a Western Express parked there for the night. Which drew another, and anotherbuntil they were double stacked. The guy eside me tried to leave and missed my nose by inches, but still couldn't cut it out. He made a flatbed move.i had already told a guy I was leaving so he was ready. Didbt know the one beside me was too. So he follows the guy beside me and I leave. Only one way in and out. So after I turn around, I see the flatbed trying to go nose in. He won't even let the other guy try to back in, but he did anyway with the flatbed there blocking up the entrance/exit. It's amazing how desperate they are getting. Surprised their aren't fights.

Whats interesting is the reefer drivers themselves also have to put up with that noise i drove reefers for 5 years had no issues sleeping cause the noise is constant give me a dripping tap or a clock ticking tick tick tick that'll drive me crazy the worst is barking dogs we got a whole bunch of them where i live and the owners don't give a @#$% about keeping them quiet.
-
I often wonder how you guys do it.
-
Anyone that lets a dog bark all the time should be fined heavily.

Only one that ever bothered me was: The engine starting and stopping to keep the batteries charged. Then I just shut my windows completely and went to sleep.
Had a guy ask if his APU starting and stopping would bother me. No problem.
Constant noise doesn’t bother me. Probably better since it drowns out noises that pop up now and then.
My sleeper is very quiet.
On parking. I get it in there any way I can without hitting anything. I ain’t no reefer driver. I don’t get all that practice. -
Yeah my thought exactly however the powers that be seem to do nothing about it this has got to be the worst place ever for animal control behavior.

reefer drivers you mean? I guess its like a mother she gets used to her young baby crying and some how learns to sleep as well.
